We will be using artwork in our demo created by Karin Lakshmi Von May. We will also be using this page on calscape.org for information to add text to our composition.
Helpful Hotkeys & Links
Below are a series of helpful hotkeys for After Effects (these are primarily for a Mac, you may have to adjust accordingly for PC shortcuts). Tomorrow's course will start with a short video introducing the After Effects UI, and then we'll get into applying some motion techniques to science illustrations.

Zoom out cmmd -
Play spacebar
Copy cmmd C
Paste cmmd V
Delete. cmmd X
Undo cmmd Z
Anchor Point. A
Position. P
Scale. S
Rotation. R
Opacity. T
Hotkey for placing keyframe: opt + transform hotkey (i.e. opt + P for position, etc.)
